Did not find out until today, July 26, 2024 of Lynn’s death. She sort of withdrew from Ozzie and I, MaryKay, after her sister who is married to the Ambassador, fell ill to some malarious (?) disease.  Also her loss of Zip was very surprising to us. She would not answer the phone when I called. So we kind of had to leave her go although it beaks my heart even today.  Whenever we would take our Sunday drives she would ask me to sing Moon River. We were fiends from kindergarten til weddings then I moved to Pa. Now we are in Wilmington, N. C. 28412.  Hope this reaches your families. I loved her and always will.  MaryKay Werner-Stiver.♥️

Janet and I were deeply saddened to learn of Lynn's passing. We extend our heartfelt condolences to you during this incredibly difficult time. As neighbors for 22 years, we cherished our friendship with Lynn. Throughout our retirement, we were always eager to offer her assistance. We will dearly miss Lynn's friendly waves and the warm conversations we shared. Her patience and kindness were truly a blessing.

I am so very shocked about Lynnie. She and I became such close friends . Doing her hair 3 times a week for many years, laughing and carrying on in the salon, making everyone around us laughing at us acting like fools!!!  My work won't be the same without her at 12:30. Her whole life was centered around her hair apt. That was her Social Hour, as she put it!!!  We spent many Sat nites at Outback, her fav restaurant, and Rips too. Breakfast there also. I would call her all the time to check on her and cheer her up, as she was lonely. I miss you Lynnie. Life for me will never be the same.  You left us way tooooo early my friend.

Just two days before Lynn passed away we had one of our many chats. She drove by my house and stopped to talk and asked me if I was Everett's Mom. She spoke of my son and told me how much she appreciated how he would come by to help her and her late husband out with heavy tasks.  
She told me how much she enjoyed hearing his children and the other neighborhood children play outside with their cars and scooters, and use her driveway to maneuver U-turns. She often told my husband that they weren’t a bother to her and to leave them alone and let them play.  
That Tuesday, I had promised to have Everett come by to say hello and I invited her over to swim with us on Father's Day. She was such a joy to talk to and we looked out for one another as neighbors over the years. Although I am saddened to see her go and will miss our talks and the joy she showed with my grandchildren, I take comfort that somehow I feel that the Lord sent her over to say so long… until we meet again. Rest well dear sweet lady. We shall all miss your presence. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with her family as you hold her memories near and dear to your heart.

I just learned of this from a neighbor!!! We are so shocked,  we live on the corner of Welsly Ln and Wakefield Ln, she always stops to speak to us, Gloria and Candii, my heart is heavy, we send our prayers of comfort!! God watch over you all, 🙏

Our family is new to the neighborhood but we were welcomed with sweet enthusiasm from Mrs Lynn. God bless her kind soul as she rests.

Scott, please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mom.   Many many good times with Lynn and your Dad…..much love and hugs to you and your family.

Ms. Lynn you are missed. Our family appreciates the warm welcome to the neighborhood in 2019. Your heart for children  and us was apparent immediately.  We were blessed to have you for the time God allowed us to. We will carry the memory of your laughter and bright smile with us forever.
