Mary Ellen Martin

Mrs. Martin was born September 15th, 1938, in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore in 1956. She and her husband, Harry Martin, moved to Bowie in 1966 and were active members at Grace Lutheran Church. Mary Ellen and Harry Martin were married 42 years when Harry passed from cancer in 2001. Mary Ellen was a beloved member of Mid Atlantic Community Church (MACC).

Mary Ellen Martin is survived by her daughter, Kathleen J. Dean of Bowie, and three sons, Harry W. Martin of Baltimore, Charles E. Martin of Bowie, and James S. Martin of Crownsville. Mary Ellen was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be February 3rd, 2020 from 12 to 1pm at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be directly after the visitation period. Burial will directly follow the service and will be held at Lakemont Memorial Gardens located in Davidsonville, MD.

Following the graveside service, a light reception will be held at The Mid Atlantic Community Church located on Davidsonville Rd in Gambrills, MD.
