Kevin and I worked together for a number of years at Horenberg Insurance Services. He was a mentor to me, a great inspiration, and a great friend.  Kevin was a Renaissance man.  He had considerable talents in so many areas.  He introduced me to Google, before Google was a "thing." He taught me web design basics, so I could update our company website.  We collaborated on creating company procedures.  He wrote the most eloquent letters, and many became the form letters for our insurance agency. There was nothing he did not either know, or could quickly research.  His caring and dry wit endeared him to us all.  My husband Mike and I shared many an after work Happy Hour with him, and we have so many fond memories. He and my husband had some common interests, and he visited us at our home on several occasions.  There are so many people who were touched and inspired by Kevin.  He truly made a positive difference in the world.  We will miss him.

Kevin was a great mentor, teacher, and an overall kind person who was willing to help anyone in need.  I will always remember how patient, and generous he was.  He never complained, and he was always a team player.  Kevin was the main person who taught me the fundamentals of insurance.  Over the course of many months, he sat with me for hours to help me study for my insurance exam.  I will always appreciate those moments, and I am forever grateful for having the opportunity to meet someone who was so giving and selfless.  His actions and words speak volumes about his character.  During this time with Kevin, I also quickly learned that he had a witty sense of humor.  He always told me to remember that the "word of the day was money", and he would tell me that if the insurance business did not work out for me, that I could become a ninja, since he never could hear my footsteps when I walked into his office.  I will always miss his cheerful "good morning fellow co-workers," "Happy Friday's" and most importantly his warm personality.  Kevin will be missed greatly, and I am glad to have met someone like him.  

Kevin was one of the coolest people I've ever known.  He loved music, baseball and office supplies.  It was like Christmas when we went to office  depot.  Our favorite songs included "It feels like Rain" by John Hiatt and anything by Acoustic Alchemy.  Baseball was "Swell" whether it was the Nationals or the Bowie Bay Socks.  Pete & I are going to miss our Buddy. 

Kevin aka KB was one in a million. He was a huge influence in my life. He  was my co-worker, my friend and my mentor. He taught me, he supported me, always had my back and he made me laugh every single day. He always had a smile on his face and always had something witty to say that would bring you to tears. I am the person I am today because of him. I feel very fortunate that he was a part of my life for almost 20 years. I will miss him each and every day but will cherish all the things he taught me, the great advice he gave and the funny things he said. 

Kevin was always "swell", he called the supply closet "The Treasure Room" he loved sugar cookies from Panera, munchkins from Dunkin, baseball, music, snow days and pay day :) 

I worked with Kevin over a number of years and I always enjoyed his light hearted attitudr. I always felt lifted after our conversations

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my beloved friend and co-worker. I will miss Kevin’s wonderful sense of humor and gentle caring spirit. I so enjoyed his daily visits to the front desk to share a chuckle. Rest In Peace Kevin.
