Wildman, Philip Joseph, 77 of Sagamore Beach, MA. He passed away suddenly on November 5, 2024 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, MA. He was born in Cambridge, MA on April 7, 1947 to the late Philip and Mary (Russell) Wildman.
Phil grew up in Saugus, MA and graduated from Saugus High School. After high School, he joined the US Navy for 4 years during the Vietnam War and he was a proud Veteran. Phil was member of the DeWitt Clinton Lodge of Freemasons. Phil worked as a mechanic at Ryder Truck and he retired from the Bourne DPW.
Phil is survived by his loving wife Nancy and his children: Philip Wildman and wife Kim of Hanover, Paul Wildman and wife Michelle of North Reading, Tammy Tanguay and husband Matt of Gray, Maine, Sarah Soell and husband Andrew of Plymouth, Raymond Wildman and wife Katherine of Florida and his step-son, Brian Riley and wife Darlene of Bourne. He also leaves 13 grandchildren: Anthony, Ryan, Matthew, Christopher, Justin, Victoria, Cameron, Bradley, Hannah, Grace, Bailey, Austin and Dylan. Phil also leaves his brother Russell Wildman and his wife Susan of Saugus, and his sister-in-law Janis Wildman of Revere. He is preceded in passing by his brother, Sean Wildman.
Phil enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Phil enjoyed playing volleyball, watching all New England sport teams and traveling to Red Sox games in other states.
Visiting hours will be held from 11-1 PM on Wednesday, November 13th at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home at 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA. A service will follow. Burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
