Patricia Anne Olson

She was born to Robert and Anne (Cahir) Reid in July 1950. She grew up in Scituate and loved returning there to visit. She received her Associates Degree from Bay State College and went on to work a long and successful 30+ year career in accounting for Verizon and its predecessors.

Patty retired to her dream home in Pocasset and enjoyed spending time with, spoiling, and ruffling the feathers of friends and family. She loved boating, gardening, and doting on her grandchildren. She also enjoyed volunteering her time coordinating events for the Jimmy Fund and recently participating in the Otis Civilian Advisory Council.

She is survived by her two children Nancy Latham and husband Steven of Easton, Michael Olson and wife Kelly of Tewksbury, and longtime companion Paul Cournoyer of Pocasset. Mimi will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by grandchildren Reid, Ashlyn, and Avery Latham, Cordelia and Thomas Olson, and “adopted” grandchildren Ryan, Evan, and Sarah Hilliard. Also, her Uncle John Cahir and his wife Mary Anne, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Patty is predeceased by her brother Robert Reid of Fort Pierce, FL, her sister Pamela Margaret Reid of Scituate, her parents, and beloved aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Jimmy Fund or the Otis Civilian Advisory Council.

A celebration of life will be held at her home on August 13th , 2022 at 2pm at 13 River Rd., Pocasset, MA 02559.
