Henry "Bill" W. Lynch

Lynch, Henry W. (Bill) age 95 passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Friday, September 27,2024 at Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehab Center in Buzzard Bay, MA. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 47 years, Gertrude J. (Teehan) Lynch. They raised their family in Waltham, MA before moving to Sandwich, MA.

Henry leaves his children John W. Lynch of Brattleboro, VT; Joan M. Lynch of Waltham, MA; Thomas R. Lynch of Onset, MA; Mary E. Leger, wife of John Leger of Waltham ,MA and Edward V. Lynch of Wareham, MA and family friend Bill Broadbent of Wareham, MA. He also leaves his grandchildren Marc and Hayley Leger, of Waltham ,MA; Nicholas Leger, of Medford, MA; Matthew Leger of North Palm Beach, FL, Kathleen Lynch of Groton, CT and Allison Lynch of Groton, CT and a great-granddaughter Chelsea of Groton, CT.

Henry was drafted into the army during the Korean War in 1951 and was honorably discharged in 1953. He then went to work for New England Telephone where he was an installer before retiring after 42 years.

Visiting hours for Henry will be held Monday, October 7, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd (Route 28), Bourne, MA 02532. A funeral service will take place Monday, October 7, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne, MA 02532. A graveside service will take place Monday, October 7, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne, MA 02542.
