George B. Hammond Jr., 86 of Pocasset died August 12, 2012. Born May 4, 1926 in Bourne he was the son of the late George B. Hammond Sr. and Helene (Gibbs) Hammond. He was the former husband of the late Ann P. (Waters) Hammond. He is survived by 2 sons Robert A. and George B. III; 1 daughter Ann Hammond; 2 grandchildren Jonathan and Noah Hammond and 2 great grandchildren and a sister Elizabeth Davis .He was a World War II Army veteran. Visiting Hours will be held Friday .September 7th from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. Interment at MA National Cemetery Sept. 7th at 3:00 PM
