From the day Taylor was born, she was a force to be reckoned with. She had the strongest of all wills and lived life the way she saw fit—fiercely independent. Although she was incredibly private and rarely took people’s opinions of her into account, anyone who met her could tell you how much love she had to give. She was beautiful inside and out, wearing the stories of her life in the form of her many tattoos. Not only did she love music from a young age, but she walked on her tiptoes until she was three. It was as if she danced her way through life from that point on.
Taylor’s wit was razor sharp, socially and academically. She graduated high school at the age of sixteen. After spending a year nursing school, she was certified in phlebotomy. She also had a passion for the beauty industry, finishing school to be an esthetician. Her latest focus was designing and sewing clothes from scratch. No matter what she did, however, it all came back to two things: helping people heal and helping people feel comfortable in their own skins.
It was admirable how little fear Taylor had. Without a second thought, she would pick up and drive cross-country at a moment’s notice. The water always called to her and held a special place in her heart—rivers, waterfalls, and especially the ocean. Her dog, Denali, would often be by her side on her adventures.
Her family takes comfort knowing Taylor is free, much like a butterfly is free to explore the world. We will miss her dearly until we meet again. She was loved more than anyone possibly could be loved. Taylor was our world.
