Cynthia was born on August 22, 1957 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Robert (Bob) and Louise Whatley who both proceeded her in death.
Cynthia received a GED and went on to school to become a LVN. Cynthia worked for over 20 years as an LVN for a urologist and ended her career working as a school nurse.
Cynthia loved a good garage sale and devoted her time caring for others. She was generous, forgiving and never met a stranger. Cynthia loved others well and most enjoyed her time with her grandchildren.
Cynthia is survived by her two sisters and their spouses, LaWanna and Randy Johnson of Scotland, Texas and Bambi and John Flores of Brock, Texas. Cynthia also has one daughter Stevie Dawn Whatley and three grandchildren, Serenity Keck and Jaymason and Eevah Vasquez. Cynthia also has nieces and nephews who meant the world to her Josh Johnson. Deneka Johnson, Mackinsey Kirby, and Tristan Flores. There are also aunts, uncles, and cousin who will treasure the memories they have of Cynthia.
Cynthia spent her last few years living in Colorado, so she could be close to her daughter and grandchildren. She renewed her relationship with Jesus and spoke often about becoming a true disciple and spending time with God.
Cynthia will be missed here, but her family knows eternity and looks forward to the great reunion.
