Chip Boggs

William “Chip” Boggs of Longmont died January 14, 2012 in Longmont. He was 47. Chip was born January 13, 1965 to Kent D. and Frances M Boggs in Alexandria, Virginia. He moved to Boulder at an early age and attended Fairview High School and graduated in 1985. After high school he worked for NeoData for 15 years and then he worked for Carrier Access for six years. Chip attended Front Range Community College and earned his Associates Degree in Computer Technology. He was working at WalMart at the time of his death.

Chip loved to fish, camp, and the West Virginia Farm Life. He was an outgoing, kind person, and was loved by everyone.

He is survived by his parents Kent and Frances Boggs of Boulder; Sister Laura and her husband Leon of Berthoud; Brother Jamey and his wife Edelyn of Longmont; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives. He is preceded in death by his two brothers Roger Kent Boggs, and Richard Duane Boggs.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 20, 2012 from 4-8 pm at Crist Mortuary (3395 Penrose Place Boulder, Colorado 80301). Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Mountain View United Methodist Church (350 Ponca Place Boulder, Colorado 80303). Interment will follow after funeral service at Mountain View Memorial Park (3016 Kalmia Ave Boulder, Colorado 80301).
