She had one brother Robert now deceased. Losing her parents as a child she was raised by
her aunt and uncle Mary and Arthur Giggey in Boulder. She danced and played the accordion
to entertain at local events.
Whittier, Casey, and Boulder High Schools were fun for Alice she graduated in 1941 and then
completed a semester at CU.
In 1943 she married the love of her life Glen Abner Brink who died in 1960. She then raised
her two children and is survived by them Glen, Carol along with son-in-law David Bernal.
There are many grandchildren, Holly Biggers, Glen Bernal, and Cory Bernal (Cyndi). Greats
Joshua Earl (Tracie), Sierra Bernal, and Anthony Bernal (Emily), Alyssa Bernal, and Austin
Bernal. Great-greats Konner and Keilie Earl, Mallarie and James Russell, and Mason Bernal.
Alice was employed at the Telephone Co.for 30+ years until retiring as an Estimate Assigner.
She traveled with friends and enjoyed gardening, quilting, cross-stitching, bible study, going to tea with
friends and playing with grandchildren. She volunteered for schools, Boulder Police Dept, and DIA.
David, Carol and Alice were inseparable for 30 years she was a light in our lives and she loved her friends.
A private burial will take place at Mtn.View Memorial Park in Boulder and a Life Celebration will be
held in Greeley in the spring.
