I was thinking of Karen the other day and went to see how she was doing. I hadn't heard from her much since she had retired,  but knew she had been enjoying life. I'm saddened to hear of her passing. Karen was such an amazing person. I met Karen when I went to Italy for work. I was a bit unsure and scared and Karen really helped me adjust to being away from home like we were. I felt like we formed such a special bond while we were there. Karen had an unspeakable kindness and willingness to care for others.
