Frederick Kent Kuiper, age 80, of Bothell, Washington passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023. Kent was born in 1943, in Denver, Colorado to John and Wilma Kuiper.
He attended Denver Christian School, graduating from high school in 1961. He attended University of Denver, Michigan State University, and completed his Masters degree at University of Washington in Applied Statistics, after being recruited to join the Boeing Company in Seattle.
Kent and Joyce were married in 1968. They bought their first home together in Bellevue in 1971, where they raised their four children.
Kent retired from the Boeing Company after 47 years. He loved his work at Boeing, applying his Six Sigma Master Black Belt to sharpen quality control to airplane manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Kuiper, sister Dana Kuiper, and children Jody Reich, Karen Witt, David Kuiper and Carolyn Amirr. Additionally, he leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren.
