Maria R. Picardi

Maria R. (Pasquale) Picardi, age 77, of West Roxbury formerly of Boston’s North End, passed away on December 28, 2013 in the Faulkner Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Raffaele G. Picardi; Devoted daughter of the late Vincenzo and Elisabetta (DiRamio) Pasquale; Loving mother of Joanna Picardi and Salvatore Firicano of West Roxbury; Dear sister of Emma Sondonta of Italy, the late Vincenza (DiMeo) Pasquale and the late Anna Giovannucci; and the special aunt to Vincent and Edward Giovannucci .

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 beginning at 9:45am at Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St, Boston for her funeral mass at St. Leonard’s Church, Boston at 10:45am. Entombment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. The family will be receiving guests for visiting hours on Friday Jan.3, 2014 from 4-8pm at Boston Harborside.
