Joanna L Dellagona, age 77 of the North End of Boston peacefully passed away on Tuesday May 22, 2018.
Joanna was a life long resident of the North End and active member of the North End Neighbor Association. She worked for 40 years as a clerk at the Registry of Probate for Suffolk County. Joanna enjoyed traveling and being with her family and friends. Joanna was born in Fitchburg Ma to Henry and Lucy Dellagona, deceased. She was survived by her sister Adeline, and her favorite brother In-law Charles Hennigar, as well as beloved Nieces and Nephews and Grand Nieces and Nephews. Joanna will have visiting hours on Friday May 25, 2018 at the Boston Harborside Home of J.S. Waterman & Sons-Waring- Langone Funeral Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston from 4-7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held May 26, 2018 at St. Leonard’s Church, Hanover St., North End at 10:00 AM, please be to the funeral home by 9:15 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Dr., Suite # 101, Natick, MA 01760.
