Barbara (Summa) Sullivan of Boston’s North End passed away on September 16, 2022. Born, raised and life-time resident of the North End. The daughter of the late Gaspar and Helen (Forte) Summa. Barbara was the “Woman of Fleet Street” and owner of La Summa Restaurant on Fleet St. for 40 years. She really enjoyed spending time with her family and socializing with patrons at her restaurant and her doors where always open. Her passion of cooking and baking delighted many at La Summa, but more so by her family and friends. She is the beloved mother of Laurence Sullivan and his wife Sharon of Peabody, and LoriAnna Felici and her husband Steven of Attleboro. Treasured partner of Gerald “Jerry” Azzarone of the North End. Cherished grandmother of Patrick Sullivan, Sofia, Domenic and Dante Felici; step-grandmother of Lauren Santillana and her husband Mario, Nicole Page DeSousa and her husband Fabio; great-step-grandmother of Christian, Devin, Mia, Ariana, Alila and Natalia. Dear sister of Robert Summa and his wife Christine of Winthrop, the late Joseph and Steven Summa. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm in the J.S. Waterman Langone Chapel, 580 Commercial St., Boston. COMPLIMENTARY VALET PARKING ATTENDANTS AT FRONT DOOR.
