R. Stephen Sams Jr.

R. Stephen Sams, 38, of Pilot Grove, Missouri, passed away on March 21, 2024, at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove, surrounded by his loved ones. His Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 2 p.m. at William Woods Funeral Home in Boonville, Missouri.

Stephen is survived by his mother, Robyn Sams of Boonville, Missouri; his father, Ron Sams, and stepmother, Diane Sams of Rolla; his brothers, Ryan Sams of Boonville, and Grady Sams of Rolla; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Stephen had a passion for music, particularly playing the guitar. His love for nature and animals was evident in his appreciation for the outdoors. Stephen found joy in skateboarding and expressed himself through his skillful artistry.

He was cherished by those at Katy Manor, where he received loving care for many years. In honor of Stephen's memory, memorial donations may be made to Katy Manor, located at 205 Prospect Street, Pilot Grove, MO 65276-1111.

Stephen will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through the memories he created and the love he shared with those around him. May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
