Elizabeth A. Clay, 93, of Boonville, MO passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Bristol Manor in Boonville, MO. Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 625 Main St, Boonville, MO on Thursday, March 30, 2017. Private graveside service will be held in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Elizabeth was born on December 23, 1923 in Clinton, MO the daughter of George Washington Russell Jr and Mary Jane (Gillespie) Russell who preceded her in death. She was married on April 28, 1946 in Clinton, MO to Kenneth Kelly Clay who preceded her in death on August 5, 1992. Survivors include: two sons, Stan Clay (Leslie) of Columbia, MO and Stephen Clay of Carthage, MO; two grandchildren, Kenneth Clay and John Clay (Elizabeth Hobbs) and two great grandchildren, Keenan Clay and Arthur Hobbs-Clay. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde Russell and Claude Russell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 625 Main St, Boonville, MO 65233.
