Robert "K-Boy" Lauderdale

Robert C. “K-Boy” Lauderdale, 89, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at his home. He was born August 6, 1926, in Prentiss County to W.F. and Robert Ann Lauderdale. On August 7, 1948, he married Pauline McKinney. He was a life-long farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a former Director at Farm Bureau. He enjoyed playing dominoes.

A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 16, 2016, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Parman officiating. Burial will be in Gaston Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Pauline “Polly” Lauderdale; one son, Wade “Eck” Lauderdale; one son-in-law, Gary Breedlove; three grandchildren, Craig (Mimi) Breedlove, Brad (Hollie) Breedlove, and Kayla (Kevin) Manley; three great-granddaughters, Cara Breedlove, Piper Breedlove and Charli Kate Manley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dell Breedlove; his parents; six sisters; and three brothers.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Gaston Baptist Church or Gaston Cemetery Fund.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
