Louise Taylor, 87, died Thursday, November 18, 2010, at the Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born August 25, 1923, to Vaudie Stennett Mayo and Mary Bell Barnes Mayo. She was a member of Little Brown Free Will Baptist Church, and a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, gospel music and flowers.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 20, 2010, at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Russell Clouse, Elder Ricky Taylor and Bro. Gene Cullum officiating. Burial will be in Little Brown Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Bruce) Cook of Booneville; one sister, Quida Smith of Chatanooga, TN; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Taylor; five grandchildren, Tammy (Doyle) Holland, Tracey (Dene’) Taylor; Terry (Mike) Kimble, Timothy (Carla) Taylor and Troy Taylor; eight great-grandchildren, Lauren K. Mills, Allie Morgan, Lydia Craft, Kelsey Kimble, Kassie Kimble, Jacob Taylor, Benjamin Taylor and Katie Taylor; and one great-great-granddaughter, Hailey Craft.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus T. Taylor; one son, Wade Taylor; her parents; and one brother, Billy Joe Mayo.
Visitation will be from 5-9 P.M. on Friday, November 19, 2010, at the funeral home.
