Joe Lindsey

Joseph Henry Lindsey, 63, passed away August 21, 2018, at his home. He was born July 17, 1955, to Clyde and Zera Miller Lindsey. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. He worked for Walmart for about 25 years. He enjoyed cattle farming, horses, and spending time with his grandkids.

A celebration of life service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 23, 2018, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Seth Kirkland and Bro. Jon Moore officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.

He is survived by wife, Ruth Vandevander Lindsey; one son, Clay Lindsey; two sisters, Clydene (Anthony) Yates and Pauline Scott; one brother, Bud (Amy) Lindsey; one sister-in-law, Hazel Lindsey; and two grandchildren, Jadyn Lindsey and McClane Lindsey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Larry Lindsey; and one brother-in-law, Jimmy Ray Scott.

Pallbearers are Ricky Floyd, Reed Sparks, Randy Lindsey, Stevie Taylor, Doyle Crow and Levi Wilson.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
