Irene McCoy George

Irene McCoy George, 93, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013, at Landmark Nursing and Rehab. She was born on December 12, 1919 to William and Ada Belue. She loved her family, she was a member of East Booneville Baptist Church, she had a host of friends and love to serve God and do for others.

Funeral services will be at 2:00P.M. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at McMillan Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Howell and Bro. Jim Holcomb officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Dyann (James) Hannon of Booneville; two grandsons, Rickey (Janet) Hannon of Booneville and Mickey (Cheryl) Hannon of Jackson, TN; two great grandsons, Broc (Kristen) Hannon and Evan Hannon both of Boonville; one great granddaughter, Amy Dyann Hannon (Carey) Martin of Booneville; one great great grandson Hayden Martin of Booneville; two sister-in-laws Mary Annis Belue of Iuka and Erline Belue of Olive Branch and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Roland McCoy; her second husband, Leland George; one infant son, Jerry Carl McCoy; nine brothers, Talmadge, Wallace, John, Fred, George, Robert, Sid, Eugene, and Billy Belue; two sisters, Pauline Waddle and Maxine Stahl and one half sister, Ila Shubert.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Michael, Randy Michael Robert Dodson, Don Horn, Johnny Wright and Kenny Claunch.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at McMillan Funeral Home and until service time on Wednesday.
