Inez Pannell Bishop McCreary, 96, of Booneville went home to be with her Lord, her parents, her sisters, and other family members on Monday, October 7, 2013 after residing at the Landmark Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center for the past ten years. She was born in Union County to William Doyle and Sara Lou Tollison Pannell on August 27, 1917. She was the last surviving member of her family.

Treasured by her family, she embodied the description of the virtuous woman in Proverbs 31. Her children and grandchildren considered themselves blessed because of her love, her generosity and her dependability. She loved and served the Lord faithfully. She was one of the oldest members of First Baptist Church in Booneville. She was able to tell others about the love of God, His mercy and His grace by sharing scriptures and singing songs until she passed away.
Before her health declined, she had many interests that included fishing, gardening and reading her Bible daily. She also enjoyed cooking for her family.
A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Dukes and Dr. Bill Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
