Donnie Ray Hendrix, 72, of Burnsville, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Countrywood Assisted Living in Mantachie, MS. He was a member of the Rowland Mills Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors especially hunting, gardening and fishing. Before his wife Barbara passed they spent many weeks and weekends camping and fishing at Pickwick Lake.
Funeral services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Frankie Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Jacinto Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday prior to service from 4:00 P.M. until
6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and mask are required.
He is survived by his son Kerry Hendrix; his daughter, Lynn Hendrix (Stephanie); his sisters, Doris Rorie (Bradley) and Cathy DeGraw (Tommy); his grandson, Nick Hendrix and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman Leo Hendrix and Alma Fay Vanderford Hendrix; his wife, Barbara Ann Hendrix and his brother Clovis Leo
Hendrix.
Pallbearers will be Jason Gray, Frankie Barnes, Ryan Moore, TJ Moore, John Wells and Shane Godwin.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
