Donald Wayne Smith

Donald “Don” Wayne Smith, 59, of Marietta, passed away on, Thursday, August 8, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born on November 22, 1964, to Ova and Johnnie Faye Smith. He was a member of the New Bethel Church of Christ. Don was a truck driver for many years and had a love for classic cars. He was restoring a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Johnson and Minister Ricky Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the New Bethel Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. till 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the funeral home.

He is survived by his brother, Ron Smith (Ann); two nephews, Blake Smith (Madeline) and Brady Smith (Libby), and one great-niece, Emmaline Kate Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers are Michael Walden, Jeff Long, Eddie Moreland, Doug Moreland, Wendell Lambert, and Bobby Taylor.
