Dexter C. Cadle, 93, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth. He was born February 12, 1923, in Tishomingo County to George Allen Cadle and Minnie Glasgow Cadle. Mr. Cadle was an independent insurance agent in Northeast Mississippi for over 50 years. He also was station manager for WBIP in Booneville in the early 1960’s and served three terms as Prentiss County Justice Court Judge. He was a member of Booneville First Baptist Church since 1961 and the oldest living member of Masonic Lodge 305 in Booneville. He was a former member of the Booneville Lions Club.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 10, 2016 at McMillan Funeral Home with Dr. Lynn Jones and Bro. Jason Reed officiating. His grandson, Dan Wildman, of Meridian, MS, will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Marion Nixon Cadle; one son, Tommy D. Cadle (Nancy) of Booneville; two daughters, Wanda Cadle Cox of Booneville and Bonnie Cadle Wildman (Darrell) of Meridian, MS; He also leaves seven grandchildren, Jennifer Cadle Bradford (Chris), Joey Cadle, Tiffany Cadle Dowdy (Jed), Mindy Cadle Inge (David), Molly Crow Wren (Chris), Daniel Wildman (Jenny), and Matthew Wildman. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, William Bradford, Ben Bradford, Parker Dowdy, Mary Hudson Dowdy, Gordon Inge, Owens Inge, Corbin Wren, Dexter Wildman, and James Wildman. He leaves a very special niece, Mary Sue Spigner, his former son-in-law, Miles Cox, and his caregivers, Della Foster, Kathleen Johnson, Frankie Kennedy, and Brenda Parker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; and two brothers.
Pallbearers will be Travis Childers, Jed Dowdy, John Hanley, John Hatcher, David Inge, and Chris Wren.
Visitation will be 5-8pm on Friday, September 9, 2016 and until service time on Saturday at McMillan Funeral Home.
