Betty Lou Moore Childers

Betty Lou Moore Childers, 75, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the Baldwyn Nursing Facility. She was born March 23, 1940 to James and Frances Green Moore. She was a retired secretary for the Booneville School District and a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 24 at Christ United Methodist Church with Bro. Tim Green, Bro. Trey Lambert, and Bro. Walter Downs officiating. Burial will be in the Jumpertown Cemetery. McMillan Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Danny B. Childers; three daughters, Cherry (Joe) Eaton and Dana (Chad) Bullard both of Booneville, and Robin (Larry) Fancher of Belmont; one sister, Peggy Jo (Raiford) Carter of Tupelo; two brothers, Jimmy (Tina) Moore and Berry (Charlotte) Moore both of Jumpertown; six grandchildren, Daniel Brenon (Mandy) Eaton, Jessie (Jason) Reeves, Drew (Carrrie) Eaton, Alexander Fancher, Carli Bullard, and Harrison Fancher; and two great grandchildren, Mara Kate Reeves and Marshall Reeves.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one infant son, Christopher Bruce Childers.

Pallbearers will be her cousins.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at McMillan Funeral Home and from 1:00 until service time on Sunday at Christ United Methodist Church.
