Bernie met his wife Bobbie in California where they both worked at Pacific Stereo. After coming to a relationship with Jesus, they decided to move their family to Ohio in 1978, to be closer to his family. He was an entrepreneur and started a telecommunications business, Powernet in Cincinnati, in 1992. He ran his company like a family, and he gave back generously to his local community as well as ministries around the world. He spent most of his time in Bonita Springs, FL the last 14 years of his life, where he took up his love of golf, his last 4 years. He enjoyed traveling and his favorite trip was to Israel, and seeing the Holy Land.
He always put God first and deeply loved his family and friends. As a kind, loving man he never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him, and his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 5th, 2024, at Vineyard Community Church Chapel, 11340 Century Circle E, Springdale, OH 45246. The family will receive guests from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with the service following immediately thereafter.
