I was a patient of Dr. Masek for over 20+ years. We had the same mindset and shared many laughs while waiting for crowns to be made. I am so saddened that he passed and will miss him so much.  Gigi Morrison 🙏🙏

Deepest Condolences to the  Richard Masek family.  Our sympathy to Debbie and Laura who worked beside him all these years.  Our prayers are with you during this sad time.  Dr. Masek leaves our hearts  heavy, we will miss him.  

One Saturday morning 25 years ago, Richard Masek D.D.S. was being interviewed on TV regarding his innovative CEREC single visit restoration system.  To our surprise he was in San Diego, the rest is history.
Dr. Masek was a kind, caring Dentist with the                                                                 dedication to do things right.  His office was state of the art, Dr. Masek was highly skilled, we enjoyed our visits throughout the years.  During the Pandemic, Dr. Mesek kept his patients and staff "Safe" with an Air Purifer office System.  His expertise and thoughtfulness was so appreciated. 

We want to thank the Masek family for sharing their pictures and memories of a kind, gifted and passionate man.

As a patient I appreciated always the kind reception I received from Dr. Masek.  Through many years with him, his keen intelligence, curiosity, initiative to create and produce and his joy and thoroughness in practicing his profession were all very apparent.  He freely shared his knowledge and was always an exceptional teacher, answering every question and bringing you into the process.  Lastly, I enjoyed immensely his understated sense of humor.  It is an enormous loss---he was truly a Renaissance man.   Thank you,  Dr. Masek and the deepest condolences to his family and wonderful staff.

Dear Members of the Masek Family,
  My condolences to Dr. Masek’s  wife and daughter and the Staff members.  My heart was saddened when I received the letter of the notification of Dr. Masek’s passing.  
  David Getoff recommended Dr. Masek to me and I have been a patient ever since he was at the office on Fletcher Parkway.  
  Dr. Masek gave dental shots that were pain free and took care of my crowns and implant.  He was so conscientious and spent so much caring time with my mother, Yoshie Okuma, who was about 97 at the time to try and get an X-ray of her mouth before she had dental surgery.  
  He will be missed dearly.  
  My deepest sympathies to all of you who worked along side of him all these years.  How difficult it must be for all if you.

To the Masek family and staff at Dr. Masek's office, 
Dr. Masek was my dentist for over 25 years. He was always kind , gentle, and explained everything to me. I always felt I could trust him. Hard to find dentists like that. ( my aunt and grandfather were dentists).  He is a tough act to follow as a professional. 
   But what marked Dr. Masek above the others was his Bulldog Faith in Jesus Christ. He even wrote a book about his faith. As a believer in the transformational work Jesus has done in my life,  I know when Dr. Masek arrived , they said " You fought the good fight, you finished the race, and you kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7.. Well done faithful servant.   May the God of all comfort give you all His Peace  until we are all Home again. Shalom. 

So very saddened to hear of Dr. Masek's passing. He was such a kind man and I was always comfortable in his office as a young patient and over the next few decades. He fixed every tooth with such perfection and gave me back my smile and my confidence. I started seeing him in his practice after seeking out the only expert I would trust after having sub par dentistry in my younger years. Dr. Masek was an exemplary professional and also very caring. I always felt I was getting the best care from him and his staff.  When I married, I sent my husband to him as well! I am so lucky to have been a patient of his. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family and his staff. 

Dr. Masek was a very gifted dentist. The veneers he did for me are nothing short of works of art. He was also an inventor and very skilled with 3D printers. He showed me several of his inventions. He was always so proud of them. I also remember he had a great Lexus sport coupe with a retractable hard top that he really enjoyed and that fit his personality so well (it was a very cool car, and it was great how much he enjoyed it). He was clearly a man who loved life. It's hard to believe that such a talented, vigorous man is no long with us. My sincere condolences to his family.

Sending Condolences to the family and the entire community who knew Dr. Masek.  I became a patient of Dr Masek when his practice was located in the strip mall  on Lake Murray/El Paso.  He rescued me from tooth pain and previous bad dental work by another dentist. Dr Masek immediately restored my confidence in dental care. I have been in his practice for decades, relying on his expertise and flawless work. Will truly miss him. When my SCOUTS were working on their religious emblem, he provided a wonderful testimony to the boys.  An all around wonderful person. 

Wow are we going to miss you Dr Masek.  I have known you for over 40 years and will always remember you telling me that your cerac fixes would last me until death. I never got nervous about going to the dentist when I was coming to see you.  And you made Ted a new smile - what a gift to him.   You were one talented dude - I wanted to grow even older with you..darn

My husband and I send our condolences and sympathy to his family and close friends.  I met Rich at his first office at Sears in Chula Vista in the 70's. He became my/our Dentist for life. He treated our family and me over the years and we became friends. We would joke that we would grow old together, and he would consider treating us perhaps out of his garage after he "retired". We will miss him but are confident that Heaven just gained a stellar Dentist.

Dr Masek will be missed ,and my condolences go out to the family. 
I worked with Dr Masek when I was with Vita and Sprintray. He was very instrumental in the cad cam world and will be greatly missed all around .

I am so sorry to hear the passing of one of my best friends. We had great times together throughout High School and college. We  played in a band together for 5 years. My prayers go out to the family and friends. He will be greatly missed. God bless.

He was a wonderful human being. The kindest dentist in the land. The last time I saw him I gave him a hug and told him I loved him and was so grateful he was in the world the same time as I. We shared dog photos too. 
Just a gem of a man.
