Nina Lynn Tasillo

MAY 2, 1974 – OCTOBER 27, 2020

Nina Tasillo, 46, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2020 surrounded by her family.

Nina was preceded in death by her mother Susan Tasillo and is survived by her partner Alec Manocchio, their daughter Sonoma Manocchio as well as her father James Tasillo, brothers Peter and David Tasillo and sister Kara Villeneuve.

Nina was born and raised in Auburn, New Hampshire until she moved to Santa Barbara, California to finish her college studies. After graduating Nina moved to San Diego where she met Alec. Nina and Alec became both business partners and companions and built a life with Sonoma that included traveling, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the simple pleasures.

Nina found joy in many things, including those around her. She had a special way of discovering the “good intentions” in the hearts of her family and friends and encouraging them to pursue their passions.

Nina was an excellent chef who hosted many a dinner party where people would line up for a taste of her pizza crust and a side of her fun, energetic spirit. She was a talented and thoughtful writer, a fervent advocate for healthy living and an artist at heart. She will be missed by many and forgotten by none.
