Myrna Parayno Soriano, sixty-four, was born on December 3, 1955, in Manila, Philippines. Myrna grew up in Orion, Bataan, and moved to the United States with her family in 1963. Myrna Parayno Soriano passed away peacefully surrounded by family and went with our Lord in her home on June 2, 2020, at 4:30 pm.
Myrna was married to Valeriano Soriano Jr. in 1976 and is survived by their four children: Vanessa Harris, Phillip Soriano, Carlos Soriano, and Jessica-Marie Rocello; her loving grandchildren: Ethan Harris, Leland Harris, Logan Rocello and Elias Rocello; her loving mother, Fidela Menardo Parayno; her younger sisters: Mary Klosterman and Mercedes Wilson. She is predeceased by her father, Gregorio Guzman Parayno; and younger sister, Maritess Sto. Domingo.
Myrna worked as a Counselor at Navy Federal Credit Union and later as a Mortgage Loan Processor at several mortgage loan companies. Myrna retired early to care for her father, mother, and to raise her grandchildren.
Myrna profoundly loved to be with her family and never missed a moment to dote on her four grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, and unconditionally supported and loved her children. One of her greatest joys were family trips to Disneyland. Myrna loved her friends and family deeply, and her kindness, generosity, selflessness was a reflection of her love for the Lord. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Myrna will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Glen Abbey's Little Chapel of the Roses, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, California 91902. A graveside service will occur Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, California 91902.
