I meet Karen and David when they first moved to Florida. I helped her getting her trailer ready to live in. Helped water her flower while on vacation. Man she loved her plants! I helped her get her first stag horn. She loved it! Loved talking with  her we could both talk each other’s ear off. I will never forget her! She will be missed. Prayers and love to your family David

Mom,

I remember being amazed at how much you could do. You baked (your cinnamon rolls, peach cobbler, and banana bread were my favorite), cooked, sewed, built stuff, was crafty, and raising kids by yourself. 

One of my favorite memories was when Dad and I would hear you belching out “do you believe in love” by Cher from the back room! You had no care in the world when it came to music. 

You were there for so many firsts for me. You taught me so much. Taught me how to fold a fitted sheet (which, I forgot) and how to sew (somewhat retained that). You gave me the cutest arrangements of goodies that I needed when I first moved out on my own.  You didn’t have to take on the motherly role, but you did. And for that, good and bad, I’m thankful.  I love and miss you. 

Karen was my daughter, Rachel’s daycare giver. Rachel was three at the time she started with Karen. I believe she stayed with her for a year. Many memories come to mind. Only a few know about the biting incident, that Karen helped me resolve with Rachel. From potty training to fun outings she planned. (Horsey horsey!). There was one time I remember I went to pick Rachel up, and she absolutely refused to go home. I had to carry her crying all the way to the car, she just didn’t wanna leave!  Karen was a caring and loving daycare giver.  She will be missed not only as a daycare giver, but also as a friend! Our condolences go out to the family.  We love you all and are praying daily. ❤️
