1 year and 1 day without you.  The thought of you makes me happy. The thought that I was  privileged enough to spend 13 years with you makes me smile. 13 years of laughter, bike rides, trips to the beach and pool, jumping in your trampoline as the sunsets, making fairy gardens, playing board games, and watching movies, 13 years of copying you cause I always thought you were cooler, 13 years of phases, 13 years of you. I always thought that I’d spend the next 13 years in the same place, right next to you, within arms reach, a call, or a bike ride away. And although we didn’t get that fate, and it breaks my heart that there were so many things we didn’t get to do or experience together. I will spend the next 13 years and more, honoring you. And everything that you were. You were the bit of sunlight peaking through the clouds, the rain that nourishes all life, and the person that made me smile most. This distance between us, hurts, and I wish there was something I could do to bring you back. But I continue to carry bits of you everywhere with me. From how I braid my hair, to how I eat my bagels. You are with me. You are with me  in all the things that you taught me, braiding hair, swimming, cartwheels, and most importantly you taught me to continue to show how much i love those around me because the ones closest to you can be here one day, and gone the next.  I would do anything to see you again, but you live within my soul, in some perfect sanctuary which even death cannot destroy.

I miss you so much Isabelle. your loss is one I never saw coming. over 6 months without you, and I miss you more everyday. I miss your beautiful smile, and your warm hugs. I miss going to the beach with you, collecting shells, jumping in your trampoline, or just being in your presence. i miss your laugh, I miss all of our memories.  Memories that we can’t make anymore of.  I’m so glad I got to know you, and grow up with you for 13 years. I am constantly reminded of you always.  I may not be  inches or feet away from you. But you are with me always. In my mind, in my soul, and in my heart. You left a spot in my heart that no one else could ever fill. you are the person I will think of when I need something to keep me going. I will continue to speak about you, no matter how many days, months, or years pass. Because you impacted the person I am today, and you impacted the person I am tomorrow.

Bella you will never be forgotten. I mourn you everyday. With time, I'm sure we'll understand why you had to depart this life so early. To your parents and sister, I pray for you constantly.  #OwensStrong

Isabelle….you are gone far too soon!  Your family is my thoughts and prayers as they have to learn to live life without you here.  I’m grateful that Karly and I got to know you.  Your amazing smile and bright eyes were such a huge part of who you were!  Your kindness, joy, and enthusiasm for life is what we will always remember.

Isabelle will be a part of us forever. The rides back and forth to school were times we will not forget. Her crazy laugh and wide smile, with twinkle in her eyes, made us all happy.  God called her to his army of angels and we will miss her dearly, but remember her lovingly.  Prayers from all of us.
