Ignacio Silva

Ignacio Silva, born July 17, 1939 passed away on March 28, 2023. During his 83 years of life, he married his beloved wife Lupe Silva and shared 63 fulfilling years of marriage. Together they raised their two sons Michael Silva and Mark Silva. Ignacio also held a significant role as a father figure in the upbringing of his granddaughter Tonia Silva and was a wonderful great-grandfather to her son Braylon Sanchez.

Ignacio was a veteran and served in the United States Army & Reserves for a total of 6 years. He had a great talent, passion and skill during his time in professional boxing. Shortly after he became a successful & knowledgeable businessman, providing greatly for his family. He lived by the mindset of experiencing life to the fullest and always being ready when opportunities arise. He loved Travel, good food, family time, mariachi music, dancing and had a knack for learning various topics of value. Ignacio will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, loving father, honorable grandfather, and proud great -grandfather. He has left a lasting impression on so many and will forever be loved, respected and missed.

A Funeral Service for Ignacio will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at The Chapel of Roses. A Committal Service will occur Monday, April 17, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park. A Reception will occur following, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM at The Orchid Pavilion.
