Cynthia Mary (Perez) Cano was born in Pueblo, CO to Rudy and Frances (Lenzini) Perez. Their small family moved to San Diego, CA in 1961, where Cindy and later brother, David Perez, were raised. After high school, Cindy married her childhood sweetheart, Lorenzo Cano Jr. and had two daughters. After her divorce, Cindy went to business college and later worked as a medical receptionist.
Cindy was a dutiful daughter, a loving sister, and a strong and sacrificing mother who taught her daughters the value of family, hard work, and independence. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, and enjoying the good things in life such as music, fun, and laughter.
Cindy is preceded in death namely by her father Rudy E. Perez, uncle Louis R. Perez Jr., ex-husband Lorenzo Cano, Jr., and fiancé Carl R. Smith, along with many other beloved family and friends from California and Colorado.
Cindy is survived by her mother Frances Perez, brother David Perez, daughters Brenda and Erica Cano, granddaughter Brooke Dobson, and great-granddaughter Scarlett Benns.
