A funeral service at glen abbey's chapel of the roses for Charlotte will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A graveside service will occur Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902. A celebration of life reception at glen abbey's orchid pavilion will occur Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 3838 Bonita Road, Bonita, CA 91902.

Charlotte Wright, beloved mother, sister, and auntie, passed away peacefully on January 3rd, 2023. She suffered from Lung Cancer.
Survived by niece Laura Russell, nephew James Guthrie, brother Rex Baca, and son, Jeffery Jones, grandniece Amanda Welsh and grandnephews Dillion Russell, Brandon Russell, Paul Guthrie and James Guthrie Jr., and great-grandnieces Madison, Allie, and Charlotte Rae Russell, and unmet Guthrie progeny.
She was born in Georgia on July 31st 1944, to Susannah and Charles Wright, during WWII. Her father was fighting the war in Italy at the time. Two years later her sister Sherry was born.
The family lived in Maryland.
In 1956, the family moved to California. Charlotte attended Vernon Jr. High school and Chaffee High School.
In 1961, her son Jeffery was born.
She joined the Ontario Police Department in 1968, starting as a secretary working on records, and worked her way up through dispatch, and eventually becoming a Forensics specialist. She was with the police force for nearly 40 years. People loved hearing her fascinating police stories.
She enjoyed raising orchids, and playing the electric organ.
She was a lover of life, a lover of all animals, loved her family, and loved to laugh, considering the stress of her job.
She will be deeply missed, but forever in the hearts of those who love her.
