Alberto G. Dino

At a young age, Alberto met and fell in love with Josefina Ramos Sioson and the couple exchanged wedding vows on May 6, 1955. Alberto and Josefina were blessed with two sons, Joselito and Joseph. He was again blessed with three grandchildren, Jimmy Lee Mendoza Dino, Jammie Nelle Tagasa Dino and Jeremy Mendoza Dino. Later in life Alberto found love again and married Assuncion Rivera on January 16, 2000.

Alberto enjoyed what he did for a living by showing a strong work ethics. Alberto worked diligently as a Trucking operator. He did his best to succeed in his career. He was a Physical Education Teacher and a Basketball Coach for Divina Pastora High School. Alberto was also a Manager and a Life Insurance Agent. Alberto moved to Great Laker, Illinois after migrating to the United States in 1984. In 1988 he moved to San Diego, California until present. He received his Citizenship in 1989.

My dad Alberto (LoBert) lived his life to the fullest. He was a happy man who is always there to support his family and ever present for his brothers and sisters welfare. Besides being a Dad, he has a passion for politics, his proudest moment is when he was elected and happily served as a local Barangay official in our town. As a local official he loves to help the poor and improve their quality of life. After his time in politics, he migrated to the U.S. and spent the rest of his time with his family. He enjoyed the opportunity and friendship of friends and relatives in America. Alberto is an ideal father who served the interest of his family first before himself. We are all going to miss you LoBert and may your soul rest in peace.

Alberto left us on February 4, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Assuncion R. Dino, his sons, Joselito S. Dino and Joseph Angel Dino, and his three grandchildren and many more relatives. Services were handled by Glen Abbey Mortuary. A Funeral Service was held at The Little Chapel of the Roses on February 18, 2012. Alberto G. Dino was later laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California
