William Lonnie Sullivan

Mr. Sullivan was born in Brunswick County on June 26, 1939 and was the son of the late William Taft Sullivan and Pearl Hewett Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was a retired firefighter with the city of New Bern, NC and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He loved playing the guitar and enjoyed entertaining the customers at Hardee’s in Leland years ago.

He is survived by a son, James Sullivan and wife Ann Rose of Abu-Dhabi; his grandchildren, James Sullivan, Jr. of Melbourne, Florida, Kimberly Ramirez of Tampa Florida, Travis French of New Bern, NC, Kathryn Nethercutt of New Bern, NC and Annaren Sullivan of Abu-Dhabi; two sisters, Joyce Armstrong of Wilmington, NC and Brenda Sullivan of Winnabow, NC.

A service will take place at a later date to be announced.
