Roger Lee Sellers Sr.

Roger was born in Southport, NC on October 9, 1946 and was the son of the late Ellis and Ophelia Sellers. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lee Paige Sellers and a sister, Lois Caster. Roger worked in construction and the enlisted with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Following his service to his country he returned home and continued his career in construction and then became a Longshoreman and a member of ILA local 1838 where he retried. He was an avid hunter and raised prized coon hounds and won numerous trophies.

He is leaving behind his beloved wife, Debora Sellers, a son, Roger Sellers Jr. and girlfriend Cindy, a son, Gary Lewis and wife Alisha and a daughter, Melissa “Caboose” Sellers; grandchildren, Allison, Jerry, Tyler, Maria, Rhiannon, Kassidy, Holdon, Peyton and Cloey; a brother, Charles Sellers and wife Becky, a brother in-law, Ronnie Caster.
