Mary Fulford Simmons

Ms. Simmons was born in Brunswick County on January 15, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Goley and Armatha Hewett Fulford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Simmons. She was a member of Sabbath Home Baptist Church where she had served as choir director and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Mary was a member of the Holden Beach Ladies Club for over forty years.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanna Brown and husband Steve of Supply; a granddaughter, Stephanie Brown of Leland; two sisters, Edith Babson of Supply, Shirley Perry and husband Larry of Myrtle Beach, SC; a very special little friend and neighbor, Nicholas Taylor of Supply.

Funeral Services will be Friday December 15th, 2023 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Sabbath Home Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Hewett and Reverend Anthony Clemmons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Anderson, Freddie Fulford, Al Cromer, Wes Hickman, Tim Roller and Greg Holden.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six o'clock until eight o'clock at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 603 Ocean Highway, Bolivia and other times at Mary's home located at 2760 Lancaster Dr. Supply.
