Jody enjoyed gardening, listening to classic rock music, and swimming in her backyard pool. She loved working in the yard and watching the hummingbirds feed. She frequently took her grandchildren on outings to the movie theater, arcade or the ice cream shop. Jody loved spending time with her sister, Cindy, as well as her new found siblings that she never met until a year ago.
She was preceded in passing by her husband, Eric Valentine, Sr.; and her son, Eric Valentine, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Marissa and Vanessa; and her ten grandchildren, Alex, Ethan, Chase, Chaden, Ari, Kendall, Eric, Travis, Tobias and Vivvy.
