Gwen Clemens, she was a good person. She was a good mother, a good grandmother and a good great grandmother and a good friend and I will miss her so much at the family reunions this year. You get to see her Anthony, Michael, and the brothers and sisters sister-in-law’s grandkids, you guys are all in my prayers. I wish I could be there but I can’t, but I’ll be praying for you guys tomorrow. Mrs.Gwen will be missed by all that have known her. I was blessed to be her OTHER boy for a couple of years as I was growing up. I lived at her home more than my own, working on the farm and hunting in the winter. She fed me, washed and mended my clothes, but my sweetest memory of all was making sure I attended Church. Thanks so much for all the good memories.

Ms. Gwen will be so missed. She meant the world to me. She was my leaning post. I will always remember her holding my hand during the first solo I did at Mt. Olive. I was so nervous, but she got me through it. Still til the last time I saw her, I would look out in the congregation every time I sang solo and she would be looking back at me as I started with that sweet smile of hers. Even though I wasn’t her blood she took me under her  wing. I will always miss her.
