Eloise was born in Clarendon, North Carolina on November 23, 1932.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Cindia Cribb of Whiteville; the father of her children, Bernie Lanier; sisters, Nona Rae Cribb, Sennie Louise Cribb; brother, Charles Edward Cribb; sons, Eddie Lanier, David Lanier; grandson, (Bebo) Veldemer Santiago.
Surviving are her three daughters, Patsy Lanier Santiago (Junior) of Puerto Rico, Theresa Sailer (Donnie) of Milwaukee, WI, Adrian Lanier of Milwaukee, WI; sisters, Edna Scheibengraber (Frank) of Apple Valley MN, Eva Congleton (Alex) of Wilmington, NC; brother, Ervin Cribb (Sandy) of Greenfield WI; grandchildren, Bennie Santiago and many others; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
