Donald Roy Anderson

Donald Roy Anderson, age 82, of Supply, North Carolina passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. Born in Oct 1942 a son of the late Roy Carl and June LaDoux Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a member of Dixon Chapel Church in Varnamtown, served our great country in the United States Army for 22 years, while serving he spent one year serving in Vietnam, he loved to travel, Europe was his favorite place to visit, avid train collector having collected many train sets during his life, and enjoyed viewing trains in person. He enjoyed his time making furniture and spending time with his cat Abby Grace.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years; Evelyn Anderson of Supply; three sons Robert Anderson of Bolivia; Brian Anderson and wife Robin of Virginia Beach, Va; David Anderson of Supply; Mother-in-law; Charlotte Luise Burr of Rogan, TN; one sister Carol Graham and husband Bob of Winston Salem, two grandchildren; Seth and Cailin Anderson both of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and three sisters-in-laws; Sylvia Adams and family of Havre de Grace, MD; Kathleen Burr of Joppa, MD; and Patricia Arnold and family of Rogan, TN.

A Service of Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 11:00 am from the Dixon Chapel in Varnamtown with Pastor JB Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 -10:45 am prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Military honors will be held by the United States Army.
