Born in Raleigh, NC on August 2nd, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Clifton Thompson, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Wilkerson Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four grandchildren.
Debra will be remembered for her caring nature and service to others including, being a past Sunday School teacher at Middle Sound Advent Christian Church and working at the Davis Nursing Home. She also worked at TG&Y department store, One Hour Martinizing and was owner/operator of Debbie Mosley Home Cleaning Service.
Surviving are her loving husband, Ted Mosley, Jr., children, Virginia Mae Hamilton Christensen, Deborah Lynn Anderson, Tresa Bailey, Tina Hamilton, Sharon Denise Tripp; step-children, Kayla Mosley, Ted Mosley, III, a half-brother, Joseph Clifton Thompson, Jr., half-sister, Margaret Thompson Sealy; siblings, Marsha Ward and husband Bobby, Karen Watkins and husband Alvin, Donald Kyle Thompson and wife Connie; a brother-in-law, James Wendell Randolph; twenty one grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
At Debra’s request, services will be private. She will be greatly missed by so many but she will never be forgotten.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family request with gratitude that monetary donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
