Deborah Lynn Ciucevich

Debbie was born on December 27, 1958 to Mary Lynda McCray Thomas and late Robert Blair Thomas Jr.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Karen Thomas Donovan.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 41 years, John Robert Ciucevich Jr.; daughters, Jennifer Blair Worley and husband Francesco, Caitlin McCray Bishop and husband Hank; brother, R. Blair Thomas III and wife Susan; grandchildren, Mia, Naomi, and Holden; numerous nieces and nephews.

Debbie was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, friend, and mother. She adored her canine companions and always felt at home at the beach. A natural athlete, Debbie played tennis as a walk-on at NC State University and had a passion for skiing. She pursued a successful career at IBM for twelve years.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, in Shallotte NC on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 10:00AM. On February 2, 2024 a Celebration of Life will follow the Mass at the Winding River Plantation Property Owners Complex (POC) Clubhouse from 12 to 2:00 PM at 1640 Goley Hewett Rd. SE, Bolivia, NC 28422.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests remembering Debbie with a contribution to your local Humane Society or Tunnels to Towers foundation.
