Sara is survived by her daughter, Judith J. Temple (John W. Temple) of Boca Raton, Florida; her son, Michael B. Jacobs (Sheridan Hay Jacobs) of Buskirk, New York; and her daughter, Amy J. Errett (Clare Albanese) of Sonoma, California. She was a devoted grandmother to her 5 grandchildren: Peter, Lauren, Matthew, Emma and Madison. She was also privileged to be the great grandmother of 7 great grandchildren: Ellowyn, Perrin, Avery, Ilario, Tristan, Oshri and Griffen.
Sara was preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia C. Fein, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; her sister, Zina C. Fine, of Longport, New Jersey.
Sara was born on October 22, 1925 in Boston, Massachusetts, to parents Issac and Bertha Cherong. Sara received a BA Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Sara was a social, active woman who for many years was deeply involved in Jewish Organizations and Philanthropy. She enjoyed spending a wonderful lifetime in Philadelphia with her beautiful sister, Sylvia, who passed away last year at 107 years old. Sara was a hardworking, strong, well-read, intelligent woman who was devoted to her family and friends.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sara’s long life on Sunday, November 10 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Temple residence (591 S. Ocean Blvd., Boca Raton, FL 33432).
