Very sorry to hear about Mary Jane's passing. She was a beautiful person inside and out. My condolences to Memo, Jean, and all the family.

An earth angel perfectly describes the caliber of person that Mary Jane was.  She never was angered, was always understanding, possessed patience and an uncanny ability to see the best in everyone she met.  Needless to say, she was a second mother to me for the past twenty eight years, and she never criticized or tried to pass judgment on me or anyone else.  Her recipes will be her legacy to the girls of the family, but most of all the kindness and compassion which she exemplified her entire life will carry on in our hearts forever.  She loved Memo with all her heart and they had a truly beautiful relationship. We will all miss her terribly.

I am so saddened to hear of Mary Jane's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you today. I have so many great memories of her growing up in the neighborhood. Your house was always the "gathering place" because your Mother was so welcoming to all of us.  I will always remember the aroma of her wonderful homemade Sauce cooking on the stove--complete with plates of pasta for us to sample!       She also had a wonderful laugh! Our memories of her will last forever. God Bless you all!

We are so sorry to hear about Mary Jane. I have so many wonderful memories of all of you from years ago. Having been close friends with Terri growing up I spent time at the cottage on  Honeyoye Lake and also in Key West. Mary Jane was always so welcoming and such a beautiful woman. We are so glad we had the chance to see Mary Jane at Stephanies's wedding. We are thinking of you all and wish you peace at this difficult time.
