Age 82, of Wellington and Boca Raton, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Hospice By The Sea in Boca Raton surrounded by his loving family. Lou was predeceased by Olympia his wife of 47 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Mary Lou and Judy Ann, his son-in-law Larry and by the light of his life, his grandson Lawrence. He also leaves behind his sister Phyllis and husband Dave. Lou was a devoted and caring son, brother, friend, husband, father and grandfather. His smile,charm,generosity,laughter, sense of humor, great story telling, compassionate nature, strength, determination, along with his fun loving zest for life will be greatly missed by all those who loved him so dearly. Lou had many wonderful gifts and talents. He was an exceptional bowler, having bowled many perfect 300 games, winning numerous tournaments and trophies during his lifetime. But his favorite thing to do was spend time with his friends and family especially his beloved grandson Lawrence. Lou's love and passion for baseball was shared by Lawrence and he always enjoyed watching him play and talk about all things baseball. The family is eternally grateful for the compassionate care provided by Hospice By The Sea and to the loving and special caregivers that helped over these past years. Private services will be held by Babione Funeral Home in Boca Raton.
