Jose Yamel Guzman Urueña, 65, of Boca Raton, FL sadly passed away on December 8th, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jose was born to Asisclo Guzman Diaz and Rosalba Urueña Valderrama, November 12, 1959. In his final days he was surrounded by loved ones who will strive to continue to honor his legacy.
When Jose arrived in New York City from Colombia in his youth, he worked exceptionally hard, finished his college education and created a life that some could only dream of. He built a few thriving businesses and a family. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family, valued the importance of work ethic, and had a passion for always learning & growing. He was the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back if it meant that it would help you succeed. To his children, he was loving but fair. He made sure to instill his values on them as well as the importance of their education.
Jose is survived by his children, Vanessa (Steve) Soden, and Noah Yamel Guzman, 4 grandchildren, his 7 sisters and brother, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
